I go by the moniker Fiza.
I am solitary by choice, not circumstances.
I have friends, I'm not lonely.
I have love, I do have a heart.
I can be cold, I am made to be stronger than most.
I can be quiet, I was born to be the only child.
I can be funny and loud, I was taught to always have fun.
I can be anything I want to be. Only because I can.

for now.

as evidenced, i have quite lost the interest in blogging. perhaps forever, maybe just for now. but i am in a very happy place in my life. i have little worries and overwhelming joy, most days.

i will still keep this blog, i still can see myself doing rather sporadic posts and such. but for now, this is it. all the meanderings and wanderings and wondering have brought me here. here being me and my baby having apple tea, watching CSI, occasionally stepping out onto the corridor to gaze at this crazy heavy rain. here being a very nice and happy place.

and who is "baby"? we met in istanbul. we kept in touch. we had marathon chat sessions. on february 7th when he was on his was here from istanbul, he got detained by turkish immigration due to his stolen passport having been used by the thief. after 4 nightmarish days (for him and me) largely due to incompetency on the side of turkish immigration and australian consulate, he was deported to back to australia. slightly more than a month later, i went to melbourne to finally meet him, and came back home with him a week later. and he's been here since.

i am happy. i don't know if i am going down the same road to heartbreak. but this happiness is worth it. i've never felt more settled and calm in my life. it's the simplest kind of happy. it's the best kind of happy.

that said, i don't wish to lose any of the friends i have made over the years via this blog. as it is i have made several new friends and i hope this won't change. if you do read this, please, drop me a note on facebook or email me so we can finally be real friends. i look forward to it.

thanks for everything- in my darkest days, i've often received the sweetest notes of encouragement from my blog- readers and i will always treasure that. it's been a joy to share everything on this platform, but right now i wish to only share it with people i know and love.

love and blessings to everyone.
